OLYMP launches its own online shop in the fashion nation of Italy

German fashion brand expands into southern Europe with a digital brand experience

OLYMP Bezner KG in Bietigheim-Bissingen (Ludwigsburg district, Baden-Württemberg, Germany) is growing its e-business sales in Italy. The digital flagship store, with its unique opportunities for brand and product presentation, will thus be the central medium for brand communication in Italy from now on as well.

It’s a fundamental component in consistently driving forward the internationalisation of the OLYMP brand.”

Following the successful implementation of country shops in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Bel-gium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and France, Italy is already the eighth sales market in which the OLYMP fashion brand is launching its e-business. The Italian web shop is available in Italian, German and English. To begin with, payments may be made by credit card or via payment provid-er PayPal. Effective shipping is handled by OLYMP’s efficient logistics centre in Bietigheim-Bissingen.

OLYMP’s innovative web shop creates a unique user experience by appealing to the emotions. The online shop’s visual focus – which is optimised for mobile devices – is on integrating inspirational elements. These can be found at the key points of the customer journey in particular – from initial contact and the purchasing process through to long-term brand loyalty. The online shop’s homep-age and content-related landing pages impress with their large-format motifs and product-relevant textual and image elements. Its modern design also uses eye-catching campaign videos and high-quality product photography for shirts, jumpers, T-shirts, jackets, trousers, undergarments, accesso-ries and more.

OLYMP Bezner KG, based in Bietigheim-Bissingen near Stuttgart, is the market leader for shirts in Germany. In addition, its high-quality clothing range is distributed in over 40 countries worldwide. In 2024, it generated revenue of 212 million euros. OLYMP is primarily distributed through specialist clothing retailers. As part of its own retail strategy, which represents an important addition to the expansion of its brand presence, OLYMP is pursuing a prudent expansion strategy. Around a quar-ter of its revenue is generated through the company's own retail activities, which currently include 50 bricks-and-mortar OLYMP stores in Germany and three in Austria, as well as the company's own OLYMP online shop.
