Responsibility Our Path
Our path toward a shared future
Sustainability is one of the answers to the challenges of our time. It can only become a natural part of everyday life when people take responsibility. Mark Bezner, who leads the family-owned company OLYMP in its third generation, and his dedicated team have embraced this responsibility with real commitment. For OLYMP, this means that environmentally responsible and animal-conscious sourcing, as well as full traceability of materials, are just as essential as taking responsibility for the people who join us on this journey.
"Responsibility is only a value if you live up to it."
Mark Bezner, Owner and CEO of OLYMP Bezner KG
Our responsibility, rooted in family tradition
Our understanding of responsibility is intertwined with our identity as a family-owned company. When the company was founded in 1951, Eugen Bezner was already convinced that only satisfied people can create high-quality products. That is why ecological and social criteria increasingly determine our product design and manufacturing. Meeting these standards is a responsibility we share with our employees and our production partners around the world. We take this journey for our brand community across Europe, and for the children and young people we support at home and abroad through the OLYMP-Bezner Foundation. Their trust and commitment inspire us to keep moving forward and to continue innovating.
More about our sustainability commitment
Transparency matters to us. We regularly share what we have achieved together and where we see room for improvement with our stakeholders. Since 2018, we have published comprehensive annual reports on our sustainability efforts and progress. You can view our sustainability reports for 2021, 2022, and 2023 here.
To increase comparability, the current report for 2024 goes beyond the legally required framework and is aligned with the requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
Further information on our commitment within the supply chain can be found in our HRDD Report.
